PhotoBox started from a personal need of a man named Graham Hobson in year 1999, he loved to take photographs of his kid and other thing from his digital camera but he faced problem in finding a reliable service that could convert the digital imagers into hard copy, so that can be made into different albums and be saved for long time. So after a struggle to find a place to easily convert the digital images Graham finally decided to take the matter into his own hand and started to work on a portal that will provide the best customers support while providing with online digital photo printing. He made it his goal to provide every one with a service where they could get their digital images converted into prints.
The company have 2 offices in working one in London and one in Paris but are also operating other countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. But Europe is the part where they are working the hardest and have a major stake in printing service area. In 2006 they merged with Photoway a French company and later in 2011 they merged with Moonpig a company known for personalized card which made them in to “Photobox Group”.
They got the attention of many people and within now became the first choice for digital printing service, later they expanded their product line by introducing the option of personalization in different products like mugs, calendar, photo cards, photo books, mobile cases. They even made a mobile app so that it could be easy for the customers to personalize the required item while using their mobile and create the product that will suite them not something ready-made.
